ParentVUE/StudentVUE Use Agreement ParentVUE and StudentVUE are secure, internet-based applications that provide parents/guardians and students with access to student educational information maintained by Mountain View School District. Rights and Responsibilities Access to ParentVUE and StudentVUE is provided as a courtesy to currently enrolled students and their parents/guardians. Use of these services is a privilege, not a right, and may be suspended or revoked if the terms of this agreement are violated. ParentVUE accounts are available to authorized parents and guardians of currently enrolled students. StudentVUE accounts are available only to the enrolled student. Access will be deactivated when a student withdraws from or graduates from the District. Users agree to: - Maintain the confidentiality of their username and password and not share account credentials with unauthorized individuals - Access only information associated with their own student(s). - Use ParentVUE and StudentVUE in a responsible and ethical manner. - Promptly notify the student's school if account information appears inaccurate or if unauthorized access is suspected. Users may not: - Attempt to gain unauthorized access to District systems or information. - Alter, damage, disrupt, or misuse the ParentVUE or StudentVUE systems. - Share, distribute, or use student information in a manner that violates applicable privacy laws. Information displayed in ParentVUE and StudentVUE is provided for informational purposes and may be subject to correction or revision. Official student records are maintained by the District in accordance with applicable state and federal laws. Mountain View School District reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate access to ParentVUE or StudentVUE at any time and to update this agreement as necessary.
